About us
In the heart of Honokaʻa, OHANA Bakery & Cafe was created as a small weekend gathering place.
Rooted in Japanese baking traditions, we bake soft shokupan, sweet buns, and savory breads with care and consistency.
Every loaf is prepared slowly and baked fresh each Saturday and Sunday morning.
Alongside our bread, we serve Kona coffee grown on our own farm —
a cup and a loaf shaped by patience and heart.
More than anything, we hope to bring warmth to our town —
to create a space where neighbors meet, families gather, and Honokaʻa feels just a little more lively each weekend.
The Journey from Farm to Oven
The story of Delicious Treats began in the volcanic soil of Honokaʻa, where we first nurtured the coffee cherries that produce our signature Kona beans. In our island bakehouse, we blend the precision of Japanese techniques with the slow, soulful rhythm of the coast. We believe in small-batch baking—hand-kneading every loaf of bread and crafting seasonal pastries that celebrate local growers. Every bite is a bridge between the farm and our community table.

A Place to Gather
Made with Heart
We are inspired by the gentle precision of Japanese baking. Each weekend, our breads are prepared slowly, focusing on soft textures, balance, and care.
From our Kona coffee farm to our Honokaʻa storefront, everything we make is closely connected to this place. We are proud to be part of the rhythm of our town.
We hope our bakery feels welcoming — a space to slow down, meet a neighbor, and share warm bread and local coffee.
Our breads are baked fresh every weekend, using thoughtfully chosen ingredients. Simple, comforting, and meant to be shared.
